First up on the car tour was the waterfalls on the way to Petrohue. This was spectacular . Not just falls and rapids but some nice walking through the jungle too. And a new foxydog too (looks like a S American Grey Fox)! We did the whole thing in about an hour and then on our way out we saw a set of post cards which were similar to our photos except there’s had a massive volcano as a backdrop. It turned out that the clouds had completely obscured something as big as a volcano. So we had a cup of coffee and waited for the weather to brighten up and hey presto the background emerged. Then back to our cabin in the woods. No horror story here but also no tin opener or coffee machine. So off to the pub then.
