The coach station was just over the road from the B&B and we checked in for our fast 12 hour bus trip. The demographic on this journey was 48% Polish, 48% German and us. This was our fourth and final crossover point between Chile and Argentina so we left the lemons at home. They wouldn’t find any fresh food on us! The terrain was mostly flat and pampasy. An opportunity to get through some podcasts and reading. The monotony punctuated by the twin joys of Chilean and Argentinian passport control and a 30 minute ferry crossing. The driver just missed a ferry so told everyone they had 30 mins to do whatever they wanted outside the bus. Then another ferry just appeared out of nowhere and he had to round everyone up, literally hounding people out of the loos so we didn’t miss the second one. As we got closer to Ushuaia, the terrain changed and we drove through some beautiful countryside. We arrived 3 hours early. Shouldn’t we get some money back if the journey time is 25% shorter than advertised?
