I’ve learned a new Spanish word! That makes 6 or 7 (depending on whether ’por favour’ is one word or two). The new word is merienda which means snack time. This is an important word to know when you are culturally obliged to have your evening meal when the rest of the world is going to bed. Come the snacking hour, this word comes in handy again and again.
