Everything we read and everyone we talked to says don’t go to Valparaiso because it has become too dangerous for tourists. So of course we went but in risk mitigation mode. We went as part of a tour. Valparaiso is a photographer’s paradise (if you can avoid getting mugged)! Our experience was trouble free but I think the tour took us to some of the safer places.
