It had been a hot day so we thought we would hit the ‘Big Waterfall’ trail at around 5:30 pm. Not the greatest idea since the temperature had been going up all afternoon. The start of the route was marked by a fun sign which signalled an easy walk but we were soon clambering over boulders with the odd sheer drop to the side. Mind you, kids were doing it holding ice creams so it couldn’t have been that hard. After only about 20 minutes we made it. And a very nice spot it was. Not much water due to the fact that the wet season is January to March (counterintuitively summer) but nice all the same.
